i'll say i'm a teenager but nothing more. i'd imagine it's fairly easy to guess anyway?

i'm fairly introverted. i try my best to talk to people on here, even if i'm shy. but around my irl friends i never shut up sdfshjsjds

about 2.3 years, though the last year was barely active. it's been a long and wild time tbh and i physically cringe when i look back at my old art and interests ahaha.
- What are your future plans for the site?
i want to get more involved in the zelda and fire emblem fandoms on here and try to find more friends again, since most of my old friends either left dA or don't have much in common with me anymore. i also hope to build up a bigger following and open up commissions again, since my art is way better than back when i was last on here.
- Do you want to pursue a career in art?
i mean, i'd be lying if i said i didn't dream of making myself a popular and successful artist, but the chances of that are incredibly low. i definitely want art to be a part of my life though, and think i could at least draw for myself and for extra profit as a side/part-time job.
- On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your art skills?
maybe a 7? a scale of 1-10 is incredibly subjective when you don't even give descriptions of what a low or high ranking means. but i would say my artwork is passable and steadily improving, even if i'm still working on anatomy, dynamic posing/composition, and colors.
- Do you ever plan on leaving deviantART?
i seriously considered it and nearly did last year during the 6 months i completely vanished from dA, but for now i think i'll stay. it's definitely not the same as it was in 2016 when i first joined, especially since 2 of my 3 closest friends left the site and never came back, but i think that if i put some hard work in then i can build a name and a community for myself again. tl;dr - i considered it but i'm here for now
- Who is your favorite visual artist?
i adore impressionist artists from the late 1800s. like i could stare at art by Monet and Degas for hours. the colors in their artwork always impress me (sorry for that bad pun aaaa).
- Do you use a tablet or a mouse?
neither, i usually do all my art traditionally with paints, pens, or colored pencils. when i do occasionally try digital art, it's usually on my phone touchscreen (or if i use my laptop it's touchscreen and mouse).
- How long does it usually take you to complete your artwork?
i rarely time it or do it all in one sitting! instead i work on a piece throughout the course of the week (especially when i have school). i think it's usually between 0.5 and 2.5 hours for pen and colored pencil drawings and paintings of any sort take between 2 and 7 hours (never all at once though!!)
- How well do you handle criticism?
i don't get a lot of it on my art but i think i handle it alright? my sister and my friends give me constructive criticism at times and i don't think i get rude or defensive about it. as for other types of criticism, i think i'm a lot more sensitive about it gfdsklfghdjs

I'm Back! + Info on Current Art

It's been almost a year since I last wrote a journal, how wild is that? I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm actually back online and here to stay after the past year and a half of infrequent posting and inactivity.
However, my interests are way different from what they were back when I started out here; therefore I am not going to post Hetalia content anymore. Instead, I've been drawing my own OCs and fanart for the Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem. If you're not interested in my art anymore, then it's fine if you want to unfollow me, I won't be offended! But I'll be thrilled if any of my old watchers decide to stick around, because I think my art itself is much better than before and is going in a good direction.
And if anyone is interested in my personal life, feel free to leave a comment. I'm happy to talk!
